Refund policy

 

Perishable goods cannot be returned
If the product is damaged due to improper packing on our part, please contact us via email for a refund or replacement as soon as you receive the product. You may be asked to email a photo of the damaged product.  Refunds may be issued in the form of a gift card redeemable only on coloradocaramel.com. We are not responsible for shipping delays once the product has left our facility.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Colorado Caramel Company is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, or mis-delivered after being marked as delivered by carrier. If a package shows as delivered but cannot be located, the customer is responsible for contacting the carrier to initiate a Missing Mail or Lost Package inquiry.

Refunds or replacements for packages marked as delivered are not guaranteed and are handled at our sole discretion. In certain circumstances, a one-time courtesy refund or replacement may be offered; however, this does not establish an ongoing obligation.

We strongly recommend shipping to a secure location where packages can be received safely.

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Perishable goods (such as food), custom products or special orders cannot be returned. Unfortunately, we cannot refund sale items or gift cards. Through years of careful observation, we conclude that perishable candies, such as chocolate won't make it if left outside even one day in hot climates. Overnight or expedited shipping is required.  We are not responsible for melting or other damages cause by heat exposure during shipping.

 

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve reviewed you request, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method or the refund may be issued in the form of a gift card redeemable only on coloradocaramel.com.  Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Gift Cards

Colorado Caramel Company gift cards may only be redeemed for products listed on our website. They may not be redeemed for cash. Gift cards will expire 5 years after date of purchase per Colorado regulations. If Colorado Caramel Company's online store is no longer active, you will be notified via the email address we have on file for the purchaser of said gift card.
